Four Chaps Take on Etape Caledonia for Charity

Macintyre Transport is excited to announce their support for the team of four middle-aged, middleweight chaps who will be participating in the Etape Caledonia on May 14th, 2023. This cycling event will take them through a challenging 85-mile route of Scottish hills, and they will be raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The team’s aim is to raise much-needed funds for Macmillan, the charity which is currently providing support to their friend, James. James was recently diagnosed with Low Grade Non-Hodgkin Follicular Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system, after noticing a lump in his right armpit. Despite being diagnosed at stage 4, James remains positive and determined, with a treatment plan already in place.
Throughout his difficult journey, James has found unwavering support from Macmillan Cancer Support, which provides practical and financial assistance, as well as emotional support to people living with cancer.
Macintyre Transport is honoured to contribute to the fundraising effort for Macmillan Cancer Support.
